Safaris & Expeditions
So glad I came out for this, you have been EXTREMELY patient with me. Best BEST entertainment and hosting I've EVER experienced on safari! I've learnt a lot from you and your dedication, drive and passion for photography and the camp in general is very, very unusual and great to enjoy. Keep up the good work and let's do it again.

Angie and I thoroughly enjoyed our expedition - It was well worth waiting 2 years to be with you and your fantastic crew! When we shared your website with our grandkids they were gobsmacked at the unique way you captured all the animals in their natural environment. Many thanks, Paul, for your endless energy and enthusiasm and for sharing your exceptional skills and stories with all of us.

Five years ago, I thought that you were the man to guide me to the ice.... 3 trips later I'm counting my lucky stars. Thanks mate for another brilliant trip. Seeing 6 bears in the same frame through that Swarovski scope was amazing, only surpassed by the fox cliffs and zodiac bears.... truly a day to remember forever.

Jaguar Safari
The best small boats with the best guides and jaguars, lots of
them. A ten day safari in a vast colourful wetland with the

Big Cat's Whiskers Mara Conservancy Safari, Kenya
The Masai Mara Conservancies are the finest areas in Africa for wildlife photography by far, with off-road driving, vehicle limits and an extraordinary density of game. Choose between six night January and June safaris split between Kicheche Mara Camp and Valley Camp and then in December a nine night safari with three nights in each of Paul's Kicheche Camps.

The Migration Calving
A week in the calving plains in a remote corner of the Serengeti in a private camp concentrating on the vast herds of wildebeest as they give birth to their young, pursued relentlessly by predators, particularly cheetahs and lions. Steppes Travel, who Paul has worked with for many years are as excited about this as he is.

Baffin Island
No other guide in the world has completed this so many times. Paul has worked with Arctic Kingdom since 2018. Many of his guests return for this bitingly cold ten day Odyssey to search for bear cubs fresh from the dens and a coruscating Aurora free from any light contamination. There is nowhere like it, anywhere, and the staff and guides, operating from this heated camp on a frozen fjord a very long way North, are close friends with Paul. His first departure is full, this is a new date.

India Tiger Safari
A fertile tiger safari combining, in Paul's opinion, India's best two parks in Tadoba and Bandhavgarh. He works with guides he has known for almost 30 years and despite the heat has a remarkable record with tiger sightings, many are repeating their striped addiction. His first departure is full, the 18th April for nine days is a new one with Steppes Travel.

Spitsbergen
In 2026 Paul led two nine night Spitsbergen voyages with Secret Atlas on the Vikingfjord with remarkable success finding obliging polar bears way up in the pack ice with no restrictions, for many many hours. Bears are the major player here but glaciers, sea ice, vast bird colonies and walrus play a role also. Polar photographic nirvana on a smart 12 berth boat with peerless viewing access.

Alaska
Paul has led this ten day voyage since 2015.
He consistently maintains this small and quiet 12 berth yacht is the best way to see S.E. Alaska. It seems people agree with him as these departures are always popular concentrating on bears and whales, the small groups size enabling access to incredibly fertile spots denied (rightfully) to larger vessels. One passenger has returned six times. Expert crew and excellent cuisine.

South Georgia: White Kings
The big one, one Paul and many of you have been waiting for. Flying in and out of Port Stanley to save both time and money this is a South Georgia 14 night special in very early season. September has the most snow of any month, combine that with seven million King penguins, hanging glaciers, elephant seals and many other penguin species and you see why it bewitched the likes of Worsley, Wild and Shackleton. But the key is the ship: 36 berthed fin-stabilised. Expect very long landings in probably the most exciting and prolific wildlife venue anywhere. Paul is twinned with his old Secret Atlas friend and maritime mucker Mariano Curiel, they have worked hard on getting this right, they have worked together for 18 years now and they will work even harder on board, it is already half full.

Pantanal
SInce 2012 Paul has had remarkable success with jaguars. He has worked with Andre Thuronyi, the father of Brazilian wildlife tourism for all this time and with a combination of the best guides and small boats his tally (27 different jaguars last year) is enviable. But the Pantanal is also about caimans, giant otters and the most colourful birds anywhere. It is loud and fertile... and a river runs through it.
